Deadpool Captain America, also known as Weapon XI, is a relatively obscure and terrifying alternate universe iteration of Deadpool from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in the Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe storyline. This version isn't the wisecracking anti-hero fans are familiar with; instead, he's a brainwashed, mind-controlled killing machine.
Imprisoned and experimented on by the Psycho-Man, this Wade Wilson had his mind broken and his body physically altered. He was given Captain America's signature shield and brainwashed into believing he was Captain America, albeit a severely warped and murderous version. This led to an increased capacity for violence and a distorted sense of duty, making him an extremely dangerous threat.
He served as a key instrument in Deadpool's mission to eliminate all heroes, showcasing his enhanced combat skills and ruthless efficiency. Ultimately, his existence is a dark reflection of both Deadpool and Captain America, highlighting the potential for good to be corrupted into something truly monstrous.
